1. How does the design that you created demonstrate your knowledge of Magazine Design and the parts of a magazine cover and interior?

The design that I created demonstrates my knowledge of Magazine Design and the parts of a magazine cover and interior, because I have a matching color scheme for the magazine and the interior and both components of the project have fulfilled the projects requirements.

2. In what ways does your magazine connect to the corporate identity of the magazine?What are some design queues that you used from the existing magazine?

My magazine connects to the corporate identity of the magazine because I used similar pictures and type font they is normally used in Hoop magazines.

3. How did you like working with a partner?How do you think working with a partner makes the design process easier and more difficult?

Working with a partner can be a little difficult in the begining but once you get on the same page and come up with a color scheme it becomes much easier to get the work done.

4. Looking at your partner’s design, if you were to design your partner’s portion by yourself how would it look different?

The design style might be different because we have different thoughts on design but in the end it would be similar because they both would match the corporate identity of Hoop magazine.

5. Describe the ideal partner (co-worker / co –designer)?

The ideal work partner is someone who is a hard worker, who makes compromises, and who is confident in their designs.

1. Which illustrator tools were essential for this project?Why were they so important?

The essential tools for this project were the pen tool and the shape builder tool. They were important because they were the primary tools to help create an image

1. What did you find most challenging about this project?

I find the most challenging part was using the pen tool because in my image it had many tight curves and curving a line is one of my weaknesses in adobe illustrator

1. What is a composition grid?How did you use them for this project?

A composition grid allows for many designer to think of many different ideas. I ve used this to help develop my idea of the word Surf

1. Do you feel like your sticker meets the “Nature lover” theme?

Yes i do feel i met the requirement of nature lover because i incorporated many element of surf into my design

1. How did your sticker cut? Did you make any mistakes?What was most challenging about placing the sticker onto a surface?

My sticker did not cut well because there was a path missing and caused one of the letters to not separate from the vinyl. But placing my design onto the surface was thankfully easy.
